Where can I buy your spoons?
I sell mostly online. If you are interested in purchasing my work, head over to my online shop. The spoons there are made to order, which means that they are not in stock and will be made for you. Please note that a 3-4 week lead time is expected as each item is carefully carved by hand.

Do you ship worldwide?
I only ship within the EU.

Do you offer workshops?
Not at the moment.

How do I care for my wooden spoons?
If you notice that your spoon is losing its vibrance or feels less smooth, applying a bit of linseed oil or beeswax will help to reseal it and to maintain the surface. With time, a natural patina will start to develop.

Is my spoon dishwasher safe?
Wooden spoons are not suitable for dishwasher as the high temperatures will damage the wood and cause cracks. It is recommended to wash your wooden spoon with warm water and a mild dish soap and let dry well. Do not soak as it would cause the material to warp.

Is my spoon food safe?
Yes! Each piece is sealed with organic linseed oil and suitable to serve and eat with.

Where do you get your wood?
I source most of the wood myself, usually from local storm-fallen or damaged trees. Sometimes, I get wood from people who trimmed their trees and would otherwise use the logs as firewood.

What types of wood do you use?
I usually work with local fruit woods such as cherry, plum, apple and mirabelle plum. Sometimes I use walnut, chestnut or maple.

Which tools do you use?
I use only a few hand tools: A folding saw to collect the wood, an axe to split the wood and shape the rough form, a carving knife for finishing touches, a hook knife to hollow out the bowl. Besides that: Sanding paper (sometimes), linseed oil (always).
